What Is a Colour Run? A Colour Run is a fun, non-competitive event where participants walk, jog, dance, or run around a pre-planned route — all while passing through colour stations and getting showered in bursts of vibrant coloured powder.
With energetic music, a party atmosphere, and lots of laughter, it’s a celebration of movement, community, and joy — open to all ages and fitness levels.
Whether you’re raising funds for a school or hosting a celebration day, a Colour Run is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
How Does a Colour Run Work?
With tens of thousands of participants completing the events we've hosted, we’ve perfected a 3-part format that works for any size of colour run — from small school fields to large community celebrations.
Each event typically lasts around 30 minutes and includes:
1. Warm-Up Party
We kick things off with high-energy music and a Zumba-style warm-up. It’s all about getting the crowd hyped, moving, and ready for fun.
2. The Colour Run
Participants complete laps around a short, flat course — often on grass so everyone stays within sight of our team and within earshot of the music. Along the way, they pass through colour stations, where they’re covered in biodegradable, brightly coloured powder.
3. The Final Colour Throw
Everyone comes together for a countdown and tosses colour into the air — the iconic moment every Colour Run is known for.
Who Are Colour Runs For?
Everyone! Our events are designed to be safe, inclusive, and fun for all:
Schools & PTAs

There’s no competition, no time limit — just pure colourful fun.
Is the Colour Powder Safe?
Yes, 100%. We only use premium colour powder that is:
Non-toxic
Easily washable
Made from food-grade cornstarch
Safe for children and adults alike
We prioritise safety and enjoyment in every event we deliver.
